“What gets me up in the morning is guiding organizations through their challenges to determine what learning and development solutions will help them get to where they need to be.”

Over my 30 years in HR/Organizational Development, I’ve sat with peers, managers, and executive leaders to listen to what they want which, in almost every situation, has been the desire to get better at what they do, foster better relationships with their team, and solve business problems that they encounter.  Sometimes the solution is learning and development; sometimes the solution is behavioral/performance coaching.  And now, as a Performance Consultant, I get to work with clients from every industry, non-profit agencies, and small business owners to provide the key that unlocks greater levels of satisfaction and achievement on the job.

I have led Human Resource and Organizational Development initiatives in a variety of organizations,

including Fortune 500, state agencies, non-profits, member associations and family-owned. I’ve developed and implemented programs that enhance employee engagement, promote internal advancement, build essential business and people skills, and recognize employee performance.  My experience with 14 mergers & acquisitions and three (3) start-up ventures positions me to understand the development needs of employees who are challenged by an ever-changing professional landscape.

In 2022, I decided to step away from facilitating client training sessions, now focusing solely on needs assessment, content development/customization, and event coordination. I still lend my skills to occasional team building sessions, retreats, professional panels, and executive coaching consultations, while maintaining my certifications to facilitate Everything DiSC Workplace®, Everything DiSC Management, and Caliper Profile/Caliper 360 Plus assessment tools.

When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy reading, movies (I have to watch all the Oscar-nominated films each year), watching football and hockey, and spending as much time as possible on the beach in Maine, where I hope to retire someday.  I am a current member of Capital Region Human Resources Association (CRHRA) and was the recipient of the 2014 Training Organization of the Year Award (HMATD) and the 2009 Trainer of the Year Award (HMASTD).  I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Ithaca College.
