I am a Human Resources professional with 15 years of domestic and global experience in Public Education, Oil & Gas, Architecture & Engineering, Construction Management, and Workforce Development. My international work experience has given me a unique perspective on different work styles, approaches, organizational structures, and business practices. Being a first-generation immigrant to the U.S. and having extensively travelled the world, I easily connect with employees and clients from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

I take great pride in relationship building and strive for the highest level of service quality for my clients and their employees. My early career experience in Operations has become instrumental to developing effective relationships throughout my HR career; I continuously learn about a client's business, span of projects, and
day-to-day challenges. I have found that even within the same organization client groups tend to have distinct “personalities”, micro-cultures, and require different levels of support. I work to honor these unique traits and meet each group where they are at.

My personal philosophy is that all employees, regardless of the level within the organization, should be treated with dignity and respect, while being offered the tools and the platform to reach their career potential and work-life balance goals. I believe that in any industry our clients’ competitive advantage is built through intentional investment in competent and resilient talent. I champion enhancing the employee experience through recognition, mentoring, professional development, and wellness programs.

As a result of my experience, I am well versed in talent acquisition and onboarding, performance management, training & development, employee relations, and HR project management. I earned both a Masters in Foreign Languages & ESL Instruction and a Masters in Human Resources Management. Further, I hold a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI and an HR Certificate from Cornell University ILR School. As a life-long learner, I find joy and inspiration in continuing education and research. I am genuinely interested in the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) space, and I hope to grow my expertise in this arena as I continue my professional journey. My interests also encompass leadership development, wellness and mental health, behavioral science, emotional intelligence, and positive psychology.
One interesting fact about me is my love of language. Being an ethnic Tatar and having spent the first 30 years of my life in Russia, I speak multiple languages and would love to master Spanish in the future. My quest for learning will never cease!

In my spare time, I love connecting with my family and friends, taking day trips to scenic local destinations, engaging in mindfulness practices, and reading.
