An HR professional provides a diverse amount of service to business leaders and their workforce. It requires continuous learning, a great deal of flexibility and adaptability because every day is different, sometimes the moment you begin your day and sometimes something you’ve never faced before, but now must solve. The field covers a wide span from talent acquisition and development, to business strategy, operations and risk management. We are your compliance partner and the one your employees can come to in trusted confidence for an empathetic ear and support. This requires integrity, leadership and strong sense of service to others, in order to be the best model of the HR profession. It is something I strive for every day and consider it a privilege to be working in this field.

I have worked for non-profit, entrepreneurial, publicly traded, small and large companies, with employees
globally, in live entertainment, property management, real estate development, construction, manufacturing, human and financial services industries over my 20 year career. I have helped businesses grow, restructure and decline. My experience covers the breadth of HR, from implementing technological solutions, policies, procedures, processes, managing compliance and handling regulatory agency audits, mergers and acquisitions, providing strategies to increase retention and improve employee engagement, with a strong background in retirement and health and welfare benefit plans. I enjoy bringing my skill set of business acumen, HR knowledge, and excellent communication with strong relationships building to achieving successful outcomes.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, am an avid reader, a history and movie buff, and love to travel. I have been a Navy spouse, moved all over the country, living in the four corners of the US. I currently live in Queensbury, NY, at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains and am originally from Niagara County in western NY. I attended SUNY Potsdam where I earned my undergraduate degree, attended The College of Saint Rose where I earned my MBA and hold a paralegal certificate from the University of Puget Sound Law School in Tacoma, WA.
